With there being a slew of topics lately asking for mostly the same technical advice, instead of writing out long drawn out responses, I figure a small compilation of sorts would help. Yes, I realize jeraf has made an announcement with about three in them, but I would like to include other things as well.
1.) The game is running slowly, this is my first time playing the game and I don't know what to do! First, check your system specs and compare it with the specs listed here. Make sure your computer meets these specifications. If you are unable to read them, I have them translated roughly below. Quote:

Make sure it's running and a decent and steady rate, or else you'll experience what is called Network Lag, which we cannot supply a fix for. You'll either have to reset your connection or get a better one. You might also be running too many programs while playing the game. You should also try closing out some programs that you're not using or won't be using while you're playing. 3.) The graphics look funny. They're all discolored or missing some textures. This is probably due to the client not reading any textures. Usually, logging in and out will fix this. If it does not, it means a texture or graphic file is completely missing. To fix this, the easiest would to be to re install. 4.) I can't log in! I get an error saying something like "This account is already logged in!" Generally this is because you exited out of the game using Alt+f4 or some other method. Instead of logging the character out, it leaves it online. You will be unable to log back in until the character is booted from the game for being idle too long or until the server is reset. 5.) But I exited the game properly, I think I might have gotten hacked! Well, then there's no specific fix for that. However, the best idea would be to have a friend check to see if your character is online and moving about or doing something. If the character is doing quests, leveling up, or doing things like that, then you were probably hacked. The best solution would be to contact netmarble staff if you are unable to reset your password. 6.) Can you help me make an account? No. That's not what this thread is for so please don't ask. 7.) I see nothing but a bunch of boxes where the korean text should be. Install the Windows Korean Language pack located here. Also make sure you have set you System Locale to Korean. 8.) I get the 'Wrong Service Information' error when I try to start up the game, what's wrong? You have to go to the official DBO Netmarble Site and then click "GAME START", located at the top left of the page. This is called Browser Based Authentication. 9.) The game keeps crashing and freezing on me and I don't know why! First, check your computer and make sure you're not running too many programs at once. If the game is still crashing even if you're computer is fine, try finding something in common that happens just before it crashes. (IE. You go to a certain place or you equip a certain item and then it crashes.) If it is a specific event making it crash, post it here in the forum and members will assist you. 10.) How do I check my systems specs? I don't know how! Click the Windows / Start button in the bottom left of your screen. Go to 'run'. Type in dxdiag and your system specs should be on that screen. If you still don't get it, here's a short video on how to open up dxdiag. Technical Glossary Browser Based Authentication- This is a form of login used by making somebody log in through the website, rather than using the game itself. Network Lag- Lag that a person will experience that is not a problem with your computer, but because your internet connection is fluctuating DxDiag- A diagnostics tool used to test DirectX functionality and troubleshoot video or sound-related hardware problems. I listed most of the errors I can off the top of my head that apply to most MMOs, and not just DBO. If anyone else can think of any others, please post them and I will add them in. Please keep in mind as well that I will update this myself with things to make it easier to read, more errors and fixes, and things like that. This guide is in english. Very nice. Here are a few things that might help the guide (hopefully).
You can get an error if your pop up blocker is on. Some firewalls and anti virus programs may block netmarble from doing its thing. And, because I've seen quite a few threads asking about it. If you hit game start and a message pops up with two numbers near the front it means there's maintenance going on. I'll try and get some screen shots for you if I can, ^^ Hopefully I'm making sense, too .

If I manage to log on to the game, I'm going to test various things out, rest assured. I'll mostly try blocking things on purpose to see if any of that spurs an error. Mostly like blocking it with my firewall or mess with other settings in my computer.

I've opened the client about 2 1/2 hrs ago and it's STIIIIL downloading. It's downloaded many, many files.
How long does this usually take? It's currently downloading 0.90.38. RTP

It took me like fourteen hours to completely update. My friend took about three.
Depends on your internet speed. If it's good, 2-4 hours. If it's like mine, around 10-14. |

I have a problem, I cannot boot the game, I've logged in, Patched up and lauched the game, yet I'm met with a black screen. My computer meets the specs =/
